This notice says what the beta reads, what stays on your device, and what limited service data leaves it.

Audio, lyrics and artwork

Afterimage reads the files you choose inside your browser. The shared website server does not receive or archive the song, lyric sheet, artwork or editable cut.

Music analysis

Beat, drum, bass and drop analysis runs on your device. It creates timing and response data for the templates; it does not transcribe your lyrics.

Working projects

The browser stores a working copy so the Studio can reopen it. That copy expires 24 hours after its last save. Browser cleanup, private mode or storage pressure can remove it sooner.

Beta usage measurement

To understand whether the beta is useful, Afterimage sends a small set of action names to Galactrex: Studio opened, cut created or resumed, project imported, render started, completed, cancelled or failed, and project copy saved. The product-metrics database keeps daily totals only. These events contain no song, lyric, artwork, filename, project ID, media or user ID. They use no cookie or browser storage and are not used to build a visitor profile. Afterimage does not send them when your browser enables Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. As with any web request, hosting and security infrastructure receives ordinary request metadata, which may appear in operational access or security logs.

Website traffic and performance

On the production site, Cloudflare Web Analytics supplies aggregate page-view, visitor-estimate and performance information. According to Cloudflare's documentation, its browser beacon does not use cookies or read local storage, and source IP addresses are discarded rather than stored. This is separate from the product-action totals above.

Project copies and exports

When you download a project copy or render a video, your browser writes the file to the location you choose. Galactrex does not keep a second copy. You control that downloaded file.

What we do not do

We do not sell project material. We do not use private lyrics, recordings or artwork to train a public model. We do not publish a cut because it exists in your browser. We do not attach usage events to a project or use them to identify a creator.

Your controls

You can correct the words and timing, download a project copy, remove a working project, or clear the site's browser storage. Removing a local project cannot remove copies you already downloaded.

Support

If you contact Galactrex, we keep the message long enough to answer it and protect the service. Do not send the song master unless support specifically asks for it and you choose to share it.

Changes

If this notice materially changes, we will update the date and ask for renewed acceptance where required.
