AFTERIMAGE / CREATOR TERMS

Bring work you can use.

These terms apply each time you open a cut in Afterimage. Afterimage is free for the duration of this beta. Access and pricing may change when the beta ends. There is no customer account or paid plan attached to the beta.

Your work stays yours

You keep ownership of the audio, lyrics, artwork and project material you bring. Afterimage only needs permission to process those files in your browser and make the export you direct.

Bring the rights

Only use material you own or have permission to use. That includes the composition, lyrics, sound recording, artwork, likenesses and every other protected part of the cut. You are responsible for what you export and where you publish it.

Confirm every cut

Before Afterimage reads a song or lyric sheet, you must confirm the rights for those files. That confirmation covers this cut only. It does not grant permission for another song, recording or person's work.

Use it properly

Do not use Afterimage to break the law, misuse someone else's work, distribute malware, interfere with the service or bypass its safeguards.

The 24-hour working copy

A working project lives in this browser for 24 hours after its last save, then Afterimage removes it. Browser settings can remove it sooner. Download an .afterimage project copy if you need to keep the edit.

Beta limits

Browsers, devices and video encoders differ. Keep your original audio, lyrics and artwork, check the finished video before publishing, and keep a project copy while the beta is changing.

Ending access

You can stop using Afterimage at any time. Galactrex may restrict the service when use creates a security or legal risk, or when the beta needs maintenance.

Changes

If these terms materially change, the Studio will ask you to accept the new version before opening another cut.
