Install Galactrex UI Components with your coding agent
Connect the Galactrex registry once, add an API key, then install animated React components with one command. Free components need no key.
Updated October 4, 2026.
Check the project
The components are React client components styled with Tailwind CSS v4 and animated with the motion package. Run npx @galactrex/ui init in your React and Tailwind v4 project to create galactrex.json and install the theme and motion primitives.
Each install writes source files into your project under components/galactrex, so you can read and change them like your own code.
Initialize and sign in
Run the Galactrex CLI initializer once. It detects your project and writes galactrex.json, with the component directory, import alias, global CSS file and registry URL.
Free components install without a key. For paid components, run the login command and enter an API key from Account. Creative includes all of them. The key is stored in your user credentials directory.
npx @galactrex/ui init
npx @galactrex/ui loginInstall a component
Run npx @galactrex/ui login to verify and save your API key in your user credentials directory. Then add components by name. The motion primitives and theme tokens come with the first one.
Ask your agent to install and use a component by name; the command is the same for people and agents.
npx @galactrex/ui add border-beam hold-buttonKeep it yours, within the licence
Installed files carry a licence header. Use them in your own and client projects, change them freely, and keep them in your repository. Do not resell them, publish them as a component library or kit, or share paid source outside the projects you build.
Every component respects reduced motion, works from the keyboard where it is interactive, and turns pointer effects off on touch. Check the component's page for its accessibility and motion notes.
