Afterimage vs Kapwing
Kapwing is a full online video editor. It can write out the lyrics from the song for you, and its free plan adds a watermark. Afterimage only makes lyric videos: you time the lines yourself, and the song is never uploaded.Writing and timing the lyrics
Kapwing can make subtitles from the song automatically, writing out the lyrics for you, or you type them and set the timing. Its free plan includes 10 minutes of automatic subtitles.Afterimage does not listen for the words. You paste the lyrics, play the song and press Space as each line starts. Words in a line are spread across it, then you fix any line. Import an LRC or SRT file and its times are used.Where the song goes
Kapwing is cloud based. You upload the song from your computer or paste a link, and projects are saved in your Kapwing workspace.Afterimage analyses the song and renders the video in your browser. The song is never uploaded. That suits a song that is not out yet.Side by side
